JETOUR Malaysia announced that the JETOUR T2 has achieved a 5-star rating from the ASEAN New Car Assessment Programme (ASEAN NCAP) under the 2021–2025 assessment protocol, with an overall score of 86.50 points.
Weighing 1,870 KG, JETOUR T2 achieved 37.17 points (out of 40 points) in the Adult Occupant Protection (AOP) category, 15.94 points (out of 20 points) in the Child Occupant Protection (COP) category, 17.14 points (out of 20 points) in the Safety Assist (SA) category and 16.25 points (out of 20 points) in the Motorcycle Safety (MS) category. The results underscore the brand’s strong commitment to occupant protection and road safety for customers in Malaysia and the broader ASEAN region.
The 5-star ASEAN NCAP achievement comes at a timely moment as the JETOUR T2 prepares to make its debut in Malaysia in Q1 2026. This recognition underscores JETOUR’s continued focus on vehicle engineering standards to meet the evolving expectations of today’s motorists, where safety sits alongside design, performance and technology as a key consideration. The JETOUR T2 is equipped with a comprehensive range of safety features, including six airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), and a Seatbelt Reminder System (SBR) for the driver, front passenger, and rear occupants. It is also equipped with rear seat occupant detection, Blind Spot Detection (BSD) on both sides, Pedestrian Protection (PP), Child Presence Detection (CPD), as well as ISOFIX child seat anchors.In addition, the SUV offers a suite of advanced safety assist technologies as optional equipment, including Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) for city, inter-urban, pedestrian, and motorcycle scenarios, Forward Collision Warning (FCW), Lane Keep Assist (LKA), Lane Departure Warning (LDW) and Auto High Beam (AHB).
